I DUG THIS LITTLE BOTTLE 4 DAYS AGO IN A SPOT THAT WAS USED AS A LOCAL DUMP FROM 1860 TILL 1920.IT IS THE SMALLEST BOTTLE I HAVE DUG IN 20= YEARS OF DIGGING,ITS EMBOSSED"COMPLIMENTARY " IN SCRIPT.THE VERY NEXT DAY I DUG ONE IN COBALT BLUE BEHIND AN OLD ORPHANAGE THAT SHOWS UP ON MY NEW SANBORN MAP FROM 1885.(THANKS KARL).I BELIEVE IT WAS A SAMPLE OF PERFUME???HAS ANY ONE DUG 1 SMALLER? I THOUGHT IT WAS A SHARD OF GLASS(GOOD THING I EXAMINE MOST SHARDS)THE BOTTLE MEASURES 1 1/4 "TALL 1/2" WIDE.I WILL TRY TO POST A PICTURE

Hey Vt. that's a small bottle alright, but check this one out! Also check out the little figure, unfortunately the bottom of the legs got broken off and I cant' find them now Anyway, the bottle is 4.25cm tall (about 1 inch and 11/16ths) and has 'Lady Lillian' on the base. It's a perfume bottle; I included the dime and the marble to give a better indication of scale

I can't just resist this 'rear' view! Does anyone have any idea what this little figure was used as/ I can't believe it was used as a toy because of it's size. Also there's a #9 on the back, as well as suprising anatomical detail
