Currently listed on Ebay is this Suffolk Bitters/ America's Life Preserver/Suffolk Bitters glass pig.
It is an Italian made repo , possibly of the original Suffolk Bitters/Philbrook & Tucker/Boston. Or of the original Berkshire Bitters/Amann & Co/Cincinatti O.

Will post pics of the fake Suffolk and then of an original Berkshire for comparison.

Here's an original Suffolk Pig. The originals have PHILBROOK & TUCKER / BOSTON embossed on the opposite side from the SUFFOLK BITTERS embossing..... And the originals almost always have a double collar lip treatment.
The Suffolk repros have the AMERICAN LIFE PERSERVER'S embossing and almost always have a straight collar lip treatment , much like that which is found on most of the original Berkshire Pigs.

thanks for the pic BRIAN.
How come you home today?
I went to the flea market and got an old wooden stencilled soap crate for $10.00...the stencilled side of another crate marked Wrisleys for $5.00...and some oddball modern shotglasses for 50c each.
The crates and some old jars and bottles were found in the cellar of an old house by the guy I bought them from. He had a BIM whiskey cylinder...looked like the Heller Bros or Hayners but no embossing. I told him to go back and look for the dump...

Charlie those crates sound interesting. I had an early crate/box once that was for Case gins ( if I remember correctly it held 12 Gins ) . I sold the Pig snout O.P. Gins and the case to Hagenbuch at the Knoxville Show several years ago. I recall seeing it in one of his Glassworks auctions not to long ago. I have some pics of it around here somewhere , if I can find them I'll post some.
I'm home with the kids today.....Wife had to work today . We are just laying around taking it easy today.

Yeah I need to mow also . It has been really rainy here the last week or so. I'll have to break out the tractor and bush hog here pretty soon if I don't mow ! LOL

Got my mowing and weed eating all done...gads ..was it hot out there.
Also got my new toolbox secured in my truck bed...put up a new paper box...weeded a flower bed or two...sprayed some round-up on some weeds poking their way thru my driveway...and did a little piddling around before I finally passed out from exhaustion...(kidding)...LOL.
