Well, Apologies, as things have been pretty dead as far as digging much in the way of any bottles lately. Last week my truck had some serious computer malfunctions (which I troubleshot out of desperation) Having that monkey off my back was a huge relief. Penn Digger had also been planning a trip to visit Red Matthews for quite sometime, and to take in the Corning glass museum as well. So that was what we did on Saturday, and I have to say the Red and his wife Agnes were super nice people....We drove up to Watkins Glen and met Red and his wife,...checked out the Matthews estate and went for lunch and a great tour of the Corning glass museum with Red...Having been there once and briefly at that, I got to see not one, but two live glass blowing sessions this time...Very informative and seeing fills in some of the blanks when understanding the whole process....Red was very knowledgable, and also well known at Corning...What a place! Sunday was to be a dig day, but I over strained my eyes on our 6 hour roadtrip and all the sightseeing, and lost Sunday to a migraine headache. Such is life. Just when I was finishing up work today,...Penn Digger calls me and says he found a dump! Could I meet him there? You bet! This is a multiple post of the last three days condensed. I'll start with the drool worthy flasks...
