Kathy, like the layout of the new book. Thank you and Lobey for having the confidance in me to hammer out a story or two. I'll have to give it a try. Seen in last issue of the Fizz where you knew Ed Herrold. Next time you see him ask him about himself,me and the bottle. Now thats a story really a nightmare w/ a happy ending. I guess well all see each other in Columbia.

Now for some bottle pics. This is a Cape Fear from Fayettville, N.C.-1956. These seem to be harder to find than the nice 3 color bottles of same name.

A nice Cold Spot from Clinton N.C. in 1941. Don't see many of these.

John the only bottlers that I know of in W. Columbia is the afore mentioned 7Up and Hartness. They bottled Toms and Dads Root Beer and a few others.
