I guess they suck the oxygen out of the air when broken so be very careful with those.  Hey welcome to the forum..where are you located Mike? I wouldnt want to take a bath in it every day but its not as dangerous as people make it out to be. They used to use it for dry cleaning and about a million other things. Its an almost perfect non-polar solvent. Had two Shur-Stops hanging in the living room with just a little extra wire around the hangers for safety. They had to go after awhile, just never got comfortable with them there. that being said I have to say I'd never want to have to clean one up and as for mailing them, I hate to think of the repercussions if one of them broke open in the back of a mail man's truck.
