That is a nice dose cup Joel, have you got one of the bottles to display it with ? I have came across several of them over the years, and every one of them were damaged. Thanks for posting the pic of yours.

Thanks Lou,
Yes, many I come across are either cracked bruised or chipped. This one is not only clean but it is the AJ rather than the AK (bottom base).

I have arranged to pick up a Dr. Green's dose cup as well. Now if I can only find the hard one to get, Manchester depot, I will be happy. There are other cups out there from Vermont but they aren't on the collectors radar as far as I know.

It is good to hear from you Lou. How is the family and the treasure hunting going?

I seem to be looking for smaller and smaller items to collect. I am running out of house space.

I only have the larger renovator remedy bottle. Of course my dream would be to have the pontiled green cure bottle. I have found one but the fellow wants $4200 for it. I would need to sell allot of glass to get that one. I am a patient man and will find one somewhere.

Joel

Here is the renovator. I got this here at the forum from either Rick or Jim, the poison guys. Rick has shown an interest in the cup and I will be speaking to him shortly.

Lou,

Here is my most recent Vermont bottle. I also picked up a Marshfiled VT Instant relief so my Vermont collection is growing.

Whelen Store Poison, amber from Vermont with Whelen box. I don't think the box fits the bottle though. The posion label is from NY, so I wonder about the label. There is so much of that going on now, it is difficult to tell when buying over the net.

Joel

Everyone good on this end Joel, hope things are the same with you and yours.

Haven't much room here either for displaying anything, waiting to hit the big lottery so I can go out and buy an enourmous home with a full basement, remodel it, then go out and buy eight or ten spectacular bottles collections to fill it with. Why, I would probably even go out and purchase that pontiled green cure bottle for you that has been eluding you! That would be kind of hard to do though, being I never play the lottery. Can't get one number out of six when I do play it !

As for coming up with anything, it has been more than sparce. This bottle is the only one I have ended up with for a few months now. It is a Mother Magic Colic Cure by a Dr. Buchner Remedies Co. Georgetown, Ohio. I am almost ashamed to post it for no more than what it is, although I would say it is a pretty hard to find medicine from my County Seat. Its the only one I have seen of it. There are some dairy bottles and so forth available from there, but medicines are far and in between, as for the turn of the century and before. Take care till next time, Lou
