Heh, heh

The ebay deals are few and far between, but they do still happen...

Here it is with it's new siblings, 2 other Stickney and Poors and a larger E.R. Durkee. The new ebay one is the one on the left. Zumwalt doesn't list this in the larger diameter version, anybody have a feel for how common they are? I wonder if they ever got that patent; the S&Ps all have patent applied for on the base

That Durkee by the way came from the Connecticut River and was as black as coal when I found it. Luckily most of the black was on the outside, but it was still one of the hardest bottles I ever had to clean. I guess the design was to make sauce come out slow?? Sure makes them tough to scrub though

the S&Ps

There's a lot of 2 of the slender S&P's on the current Glassworks auction... Current bid is $80 for the lot...

3 bidders too, that seems a bit much for those bottles. I've always figured them for about $25, but maybe prices are going up.

I'd be very surprised if that lot goes any higher though.

$5 is a great deal if its not damaged. Color affects value on these, the emeralds and teals go for more. I still see them for $5 at flea markets but thats getting more rare.

The third from the left - what is it called? Value? I have that one and I'm getting ready to list it on ebay. Mine is deep emerald.

Hi lunchbox,

I would call it a Teal Spiral Ribbed Peppersauce. Maybe someone else has a different name but that's what I usually call them.

Go here to see the auction Ron mentioned:

http://www.rtam.com/glassworks/cgi-bin/catalog.cgi

It's lot #216 (or you can just search for "peppersauce")

There are two of those same spiral S&Ps in one lot, still at $80 for the pair. I think this is high, but the glassworks estimate is $100-160 for the lot!
