Lately Ive bought a few nice bottles and haven't had a chance to post them so here they are. First is a City Bottling House Baltimore, MD steamer soda bottle. This one is common, but the one I had already is very stained and I needed a good replacement for it. I got this one for $12 off ebay.

I was lucky to finally aquire this very very unusual blob soda or mineral water. High St. Bottling Works Baltimore, MD. As you can see the blob on this bottle is extremely thin like the top of a medicine bottle or whiskey. This bottle most likey dates after the squat sodas and most likely before the steamers. I am also going to post this in the before 1900 section. I got this one for $26 on ebay.

I have recently started to collect Baltimore gill milks. I think they are really neat and they don't take up much space either. This one is from the H.E. Koontz Creamery. It is dated 1933. I picked it up for $32 on ebay.

I had a great time at the monthly bottle club meeting last night and found some nice bottles for the collection. I got a nice quart Cloverland Farms Dairy Baltimore milk bottle to complete a set. I had the 1/2 pt and the pint. I also got an early Walnut Grove Dairy bottle from Baltimore. It has an embossed bees nest and bees flying around. I love the pictural milks.

I also picked up a rare local soda William F. Lilly Manfr. Of Ice Cream & Soft Drinks Ellicott City, MD. I had never seen an early ABM one of these before. I thought they were all BIM. Defenetly a steal at $5. Also picked up a Baltimore Ver Vac soda. I just had to have it for $3. Thats all until next time.

Nice pick ups Henry, really like the gill, the Beehive milk and the ice cream, I think I have one of those Cloverlands.  I got there too late to do any buying, had been out camping Thursday night and exploring Baltimore county all day Friday, just made it home in time to eat dinner, grab my other "hobby" and head back to Bmore.

Nice scores, Henry. I'd say you got some good deals. It's always nice to upgrade a rough-looking bottle. I have quite a few that I would like to upgrade myself.  ~Jim

Koontz was actually Baltimore. They did have a Westminster as well as a Salisbury location in Maryland but the ones from Westminster are actually marked Westminster. I'll PM you about it
