First a Bird jug, its $350, no cracks, chips or repairs, its about 2 gallons, unmarked.

2 tiger stripes, both in excellent condition. no cracks, chips or repairs. I'd let either go for $250.

bird pitcher, no damage, $1200.

Blind Pig cooler, about 1 gallon, no damage, nice blue, possible Pa/NY, could be European, its 850.

Whites Utica Ny crock, with ear handles, 4 gallon, running bird looking over his shoulder. It has two chips to one handle and 1 chip to rim. Otherwise nice, some staining. Its $700.

Ovoid Crock: Nice early form, has a small chip along side, nice blue decorations, handles, $210.

Nice crocks!  They are beautiful.  Joe has a couple Berger crocks in the antique mall if you are interested.

Very nice crockery Matt.I had no idea undebossed or unlabeled crockery could get this much.I know an antique dealer that has a couple blue marked ones for way less.Looks like I might make a few bucks...

Swizzle, that does look like a big one, is it embossed?  Oh and for safety sake, I would expect the bromos to be shipped individually and double boxed.

Wagan, but what kind of blue are they, how much blue do they have?  And what kind of form?  All birds are nice, as are pitchers and ovoid ones with handles are earlier.  I've sold unmarked blue 1-2 gallon, cylinder form crocks from 1850-1870 for $75-150 with no damage.

They were Cobalt blue colored flower design straight sided crocks,(maybe3 gal.?) and maybe a couple 2 gal.jugs.Been so long since Ive been there that they may be gone. They are more into furniture than bottles.Ill be sure to check on them now.

I see the debossment on your running bird now.DOH! I have no luck finding out about any pottery that isnt debossed or labeled. Is there a design guide to go by?

I love the cooler.Must have taken some work to make that.

I have a hot tip to follow up on.A friends mother told me that the old farm where she grew up at may have a bunch of crocks in the cellar. When they moved, they were wondering where all their crocks went to.If they didnt get broken, they are still in the old houses cellar. The old house had a small fire during one winter when it was unoccupied, but didnt damage the house much. The new owner of the property just had the house knocked down and uses the property as a place to stay when up there fishing,(He is from out of state). There is a trail down to a famous fishing spot and supposedly that is why he bought it.I am going to track him down and ask if I can check the cellar and dig the property.Tantalizing story to me,but it may be nothing.Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Nope its not embossed it must have been a paper label. Thank goodness you only want these double boxed. That will save me a lot of trips to Save-A-lot and Aldi's. Swiz
