These are carvings made by a friend of mine who is a professional "Stone Carver" he can do anything. He has been carving stone for ten years and getting more and more accomplished every day. He also dismantles and reassembles early structures. That is how I met him. I paid him a visit last Sunday and took a few photos. He has a mug marked Rochester, N. Dakota. and a nice "Greensboro Wax Sealer". The Flax comb is a phenominal piece of folkart. Dated in punched tin with initials and the year 1846!. Here's a few photos for you enjoyment. I know this started out about stone but I'll post some more of his carvings ASAP.
