Hello to all-
I picked this up unexpectedly while passing out flyers for our Oct. Show at a local antique shop in September. I thought this was a great deal. Mainly, because most stoneware that is not local (Va.) goes for far less. The blue and sloppy bands seem quite unusual. Sorry, but I just fell in love with it and bought it for resale, but it's staying with my other stoneware for a while at least.
A Google search came up somewhat limited and that's why I'm posting hoping that someone can tell me more or just to invite comments. It has in a blue outlined oval: W. D. SUGGS - SMITHVILLE, MISS. (<----smeared) with a 2 (gallons) centered between an arrow.

Any ideas? Comments?

Here's a close up of the company logo.
