Good morning~sorry to see the eBay Bottle & Stoneware thread go
I have a piece of stoneware I need help with, but I think this forum might just be for bottles?  If not, can I post a pic of my piece?  I will wait for a reply, thanks!

Hey, your here. I didn't know they discontinued the ebay one, to bad  If it's a stoneware jug, bottle or crock I'm sure we'd all agree... Ya, put up a picture, they get dug too. The butter churns are great in my book also. Anyway, can't hurt to ask I don't think.

OK then, thank you!
This is a stoneware piece, marked E.L.& S.  It also has an impressed mark, Gray Portobello.  It stands 8 3/4" tall and is 6" in diameter.  I am wondering what it is, first of all, and also wondering if it has any eBay value with a big chunk out of the bottom.  If I need to post this in a different area, please let me know.
Thanks.

Hey Adriana, Could you post a pic of the chip. Gray Portobello would be a mushroom. Probably pickled. Nice.

All too comon Im afraid.  Both worth whatever you can raise in a yard sale.  The impressed one worth a hair more of course.  JB in NJ

What does the inside of the lip look like? It kind of puts me in mind of a snuff jar.
