I found the exact same jar for $1 at a sale about a month ago and wasnt sure exactly what it was so had to look it up online, though I was pretty sure it was part of a kitchen cabinet glassware set. Mine has a patent date faintly embossedon the bottom around the mold mark. Just like yours, mine is missing the original tin lid and wire stand that it sat in. (in reply to treasurekidd) Post #: 8
