I waded a creek today. This creek does not go over 12' wide, and narrows to a couple feet is some areas. I walked it about 4 miles I would say. I didnt have much luck in the creek, shards, bud light bottles, and such. After about 3 miles I came to an area with a steep bank. It was littered with trash so I poked around a little. I found a aqua glass electric fence insulator, 2 porcelain light fixtures, and a acl Salute beverages bottle. My best find, to me anyhow, was a PI=QUA=LITY soda water, coca cola bottling works Piqua Ohio, has a nice embossed indian chief also. I was just telling a friend last saturday that I wish I could find a whole one. I did find a glass canning jar lid in the stream also. I did walk another mile or so past this dump didnt find anything. I think there may be some older stuff further upstream. I plan on putting in at the last bridge I walked to and go from there. I will let ya know how it goes. Might be rain the next few days so it could be weekend or later. I I live not too far from the headwaters of the Sciota river also.I plan on wading some of that in the near future, much easier, and cooler, to get into a river than dig in the woods somewhere.
