I dont know pot lids very well. I bid on this one for a while because I thought it was a good one. Did I give up too early? Thanks!

Hi Bram,
These lids do turn up and come in several different colours and sizes and should be in the region of $400 - $500 for a mint one. I did see this one listed and decided not to bid because of the damage as good ones are available every so often and would think that the price was around the mark for one with front top edge damage.

Thanks for the info. I trust your judgement. It's a pretty lid, with a really expensive chip!

These are a very under rated lid. Many of the shaving collector groups also seek this series. Believe there are at least 12 to find. Color wise they come in black, light blue, violet and purple. The central figure has a variation with a young man and no side burns. Generally two sizes, the large has a scalloped edge transfer.
