Hey everybody, sorry only one picture, It has been snowing for 3 days straight so I have not been digging, As soon as the sun shines I will be out. Check the picture, I was digging in a t-shirt last week I have been digging out but it is endless, I still get to shovel, but it is the driveway

I feel your pain, Ace. We have been fortunate with the weather here so far, but it's coming . Until it does, I'll be digging my *** off so I will at least have some new goodies to look at when I can't dig for more . ~Jim

I'm right there with you guys.  I"m in Maine, and we have great weather for digging here, but I've had to do some "real life work" and havn't been able to dig this week. I'm Jonesing for digging bad.   I don't know what is worse, having to work when the weather is good enough to dig, or having snow on the ground so you can't really dig, unless you have a privy already probed out.
Hang in there,
Bram

All that snow shoveling will keep you in shape for next year.
This is the time of year I'm happy to be living in Florida!
Going diggin' now..39 degrees now and only 67 for the high,,this means - more diggin' less sweating!

What a sh**ty morning! I was getting all the snow cleaned up so I could go digging this afternoon. That giant icicle came down and broke the door, good thing nobody was near it. Now I am digging to pay for a new door!

That stuff can be deadly. I saw a chunk of snow and ice fall off of a back porch once that was the length and width of a car and the ice was about a foot thick. When it crashed it shook the house. That one piece probably weighed a 1,000lbs or more. Be careful around steep peaks that are packed with snow. A house can create a mini avalanche just waiting to happen. Just be thankful your door is busted and something much worse didn't happen. Keep safe and warm. Swizzle

Hey Zane, I am up in Owen sound,Ontario. It is on the Bruce pennisula between Georgian bay and Lake Huron about 2 hours NNW of Toronto. This town is real old started about 1845 its is the end of the "Underground railroad" I am digging the old dump goes to about 1932-35.

Today it was crazy, tons of snow. It had to be knee deep then the 3 inch frost and then the sweet spot, it was easy digging once you got to it. Here is a picture of my finds.

That picture sucks and my camera is Dead, This is what I got today.

Amber vile, 3 inch screw top
Aqua vile, seam stops on neck, says 1/2 on bottom and stands 4 inches
Clear vile, 3.5 inches seam half way up the neck, has a "A" on the bottom.
Big Ass pink glass umbrella, 7.5 inch diameter, has some damage. Has flowers and wreaths embossed on the     under side. Who ever used to own this had it for a long time, there are a ton of wear marks on the base(top). I actually dug this a couple days ago, but decided to look for it today to take home, sure glad I did.
Aqua  SCOTT'S EMULSION COD LIVER OIL, this bottle is 9 inches tall, now I have both sizes
Green "Whiskey" bottle, stands 11.5 inches. This bottle is WIERD, It seams to be a TURN MOLD body and then a huge seam horizantly on the shoulders, and crude seams up the neck. And the lip is so drippy, I need a Picture for this bottle. when they threw it out, it looks like they shoved a "shoe sole" inside, how can I get this out?
Doll Head, nothing special.
Doll head, This one is cool, I thought it had broken of like all the others I find, But when I am cleaning it you can see that it was made like that,Crazy part is I also got the body in the same scoop, I think there must have been a "Rubber band or something" so you could play with the head. On the back of the body it says" BUTTERCUP GERMANY" with the head he is 2 inches tall, he is kneeling, I am going to fix this, What do you guys think I should use?"

I will post pictures as soon as possible.

Hey Ace,looks like some good digging,no digging for me this year, although I'm heading south for a couple of weeks,(SW Florida).
Maybe I'll find time to dig between fishing & shooting pics.
I dug a little bit in the spring but that was it, first time I've being on the forum in a while.
Anyway keep up the digging, and keep those pics coming.
