Thought I'd post a pic of this rare Pepsi before I sell... - 2/7/2012 7:43:58 PM    ncbred Posts: 1003 Joined: 6/20/2008 Status: offline Selling it for a friend.   Books $1500 in the Ayers guide.  Even they don't have a picture of one.  Has a little damage though.  A fisheye and a hairline fracture on the right shoulder (less than 1"), and a thin chip off the crown. Nice, it would look great with my southeast embossed sodas! I know this has been asked before, but how much deduction percentage wise for one crack in an obviously rare and valuable soda. I placed a local aqua straight side coke, valued at $1200 on ebay back a few years ago. Because the base and heel had a one half inch crack , and not much else, the starting price was 99 cents , but the reserve was 300 dollars. It got 22 bids up to $158. So I kept it. A year later a similar soda with a shoulder bruise, and a lip flake brought $745. A crack is certainly the kiss of death, to the value of most bottles. _____________________________ I dig and collect West Tenn. Bottles , Old Embossed with a side of Bubbles preferred.
