Today's Pick-ups - 2/1/2007 5:44:18 PM    zanes_antiques Posts: 2027 Joined: 9/3/2006 From: Steubenville, Ohio Status: offline    I stopped at a local shop and picked these up for 50 cents each. I got an amber Parker's Hair balsam, an amber "fish" bottle, a J.A.S. MASON CO. small jar, an Ayer's Cherry Pectoral, one other chemical co. bottle in amber, and finally the keeper I think ,which is a BIM "W. EDWARDS & SON"(side1) "ROCHE'S"(side2) "EMBROCATION FOR THE"(side3) "HOOPING COUGH". Can anyone give me some info on the last one please? Just goes to show ya that even fairly modern bottles are collectible.I do have to admit that he was gonna sell me two bottles for $2 and I picked out 4 more and offered him another dollar for them.
