Here's a picture of the bottles I like from today. A amber Suntex (first one, so gotta keep it), a little "selick perfumer New York, a couple plain ones on the left I just like (nice amber color and aqua color - the aqua one at far left has a funny cork), a really rough (lots of bubbles) Ball Mason, a nice little straight, narrow food jar, and a little syrup-type bottle labeled LACO. And down in the corner....an eyeball!! That's right..more on that below.

So I was digging away, and I looked down and noticed what I thought was an eyeball....

Cool finds! Those glass eyes are worth some money. People actually collect them believe it or not.

But upon closer inspection it appears to be something else entirely...

I've never had anything like this come out of the dirt! It's not a real-fake one, as the back has a broken glass appendage. Any ideas where this may have come from????

Yooper, what you have there is a blown glass eyeball from a bisque doll head. From the size of the eye, I would say it was for a pretty big head. Here is a picture I found on ebay so you could see what it looked like inside the head.

Hey Yooper and Cap...

Sometimes things do stare back at you...

When I was a cop, one time I responded to a "Burglary in Progress" at a residence on a back road. Back-up officers were in place and I was going room to room with another officer to "clear" the house. I went into one upstairs bedroom and popped open a closet and there was a full sized "blow-up" doll standing in the closet with a "Nightie" on!!!!

Damned near plugged it full of holes!!!!!!!!! and that's the truth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If any of you guys who dug those doll heads want to sell them I would defiantly buy them from you or trade for bottles. I just started collecting them last year and have a nice little set going already. Here is a picture of it…
