Here is another one and the seller even tells the buyer that the bottle is a reproduction.

I guess I should sell some of the reproduction versions I own and use the money to buy some more of the real ones.

I'm not sure $60 is outrageous for a nice repro to someone that collects these type of flasks. That may seem a reasonable price? Not sure how they got medium sapphire out of what looks like an aqua flask?

There was a thread I read last evening on the collectors chat part of our forum regaurding bottle prices and how the economy has hurt prices. This first bottle ended up selling for a lot more than some of the 10 Fislerville originals that I own.The second one is not doing to bad either. Here is the link again and the final price for the first one.

Here is the status of the second one which is still up for bid.

Lastly if you would like to own an original here is a link to someone on ebay who has been trying to sell this darn bottle for at least a year.Having become somewhat of an authority on Fislervilles I can assure you this bottle is the real deal.In fact it is one of the earliest Fislervilles made because of the neck treatment the type of pontil and the double tapered collar. This bottle is of the original Fislerville works before the Moore brothers took over full ownership around 1860.Their version also desirable has a smooth taper single collar top treatment also the bottom has no rough pontil but a tiy raised dot located perfectley in the center of the bottom.Everytime I thought I would finally purchase this bottle a new one would come upon ebay and I would generally get them for around 100.00. This bottle looks like its in great shape. For 180.00 dollars its a steal compared to what some one just paid for the first bottle. Here is the link to this bottle:
