Bought these bottles at a yard sale during the Big Dig era from a bulldozer operator in Boston. The bottles are just under 11" tall and 2" in diameter. Since the seal seems to stop at the shoulder (versus running to the lip), I'm guessing these are pre-1900. I can include a photo of the seam, which has a small "twist" at the end of it, if necessary. Both bottles have the number 198 on the bottom - it's difficult for me to capture in a photograph, but there seems to be a very slight difference in the way the 8's are formed, leading me to suspect they might be hand formed. Again, if necessary, I can include a photo in a subsequent message. Appreciate any help in advance as to what these are, etc., thanks!
