Here's a couple of recent finds. I havn't had time to research them but I think they are both pretty common bottles. The H.T. Helmbold bottle is mint with a large bubble on it's snap case base. I think this one was a medicine. The other is a ink bottle that is embossed J & I E M that I picked up for $3.00

Hello Just Glass;  First of all I have two or three of those ink bottles.  I like to evaluate all bottles with an off-set finish.  I have seen people in sales fired because of designs of this production problems magnitude of handling the parison form in the placement for the final blow.  Problems that occurred were bird swings and forming nightmares.
The other bottle that you said was a 'snap case base' shows an off center circle.  I couldn't detect any curved shear marks, but it looks to me like it could be an Owens ABM shear mark.  Are there seam marks on the finish?  Thanks for showing them. RED Matthews

Red, I know that circle looks like a Owens mark but I assure you it is a large circular bubble or glass defect of that nature. The bottle has a older style snap case line that goes from corner to corner. Im not sure why the picture didnt't pick it up because it is quite pronounced. This is one of those bottles that you could mix with a hundred like it and be able to pick it out because of it's birth mark.
