Here's a fragment we found in early NYC backyard fill. It's about the size of a quarter.

Might it be this?

The Dr Roberts bottle is a rare one. I only know of a few. They are known as hinge mould with pontils, and hinge mould without pontil. This is the same Dr Roberts who is much better known for his 'Poor Mans Friend' ointment, sold in small blue print white earthenware pots.
