RE: Urgent - Knoxville Show Cancelled - 5/11/2008 4:48:54 AM    TNGeneWhiz   Posts: 9 Joined: 5/29/2007 Status: offline Greg, It was a difficult decision, and we actually waited past our original deadline to make the call.  Several things were major factors:  the slipping economy anticipated cost of gas Interstate 40 closure through downtown Knoxville for a year (meaning people would have to go out of their way to find us) slowdown in antique mall and flea market sales in our region for several months lack of enough table reservations by dealers to meet our costs inability to find a venue suitable for a show within our limiited budget We are looking forward to a couple of members-only swap meets this summer.  One is June, and the other is August.  Why not join our club and join us at these events?
