It is kind of an odd one, it looks like a run of the mill generic milk bottle, but in a round slug plate it actually says Barq's. Now I am unaware if it actually says root beer, or bottling works, or has bite, I really can't say. But I know it is out there, and if anyone has one or any info on it I am interested in hearing from you. I have been  told by some people it's a farely common bottle, I collect southern bottles with slug plates and until today I had never heard of or seen this bottle.        Post #: 1

I got some and a super rare Root Beer from S.C. crown cap bim, barn find from around 1895-1905. Slugplates are my personnal preference but I am always interested in other odd bottles from the same areas.
