As far as an 87a... there is just one example known, and I don't think he will be parting with it. You forgot the 88a with the pattern molded impression. As far as I know, there is only 1 example, and it reside in CT. There is also only 1 recorded example of the 88a, 1 example of the 89a, and 1 example of the 89b. Bottom line. I was in it until the last day, I think I know who has it but it seems to not be for sale. and as far as the 1 of varients go I don't hold any hope for them but then again, who knows what will come a knocking on my door.
