Hi all

Brand new to the forum, I feel I loosely collect bottles (pic attached of most of my collection) most are Pickaxe but almost all of my bottles come from the sea, I'm a dive and I LOVE buzzing around on my scooter looking through the weed and finding some amazing old bottles. For me its like treasure from the sea. Anyway, my latest find last week was a clear bottle with WH Causer and Son Wallaroo embossed on it and AGM and I think A1 on the bottle also photo attached.

If anyone can give me some back ground on it I would be very grateful!

Happy Hunting!!

Hi,

Obviously you live in South Australia. Your Causer, Wallaroo bottle was for Ginger Beer and dates to around 1925 and is relatively common. If there is any chance of a larger photo of your other bottles I can give you some info on them/especially the Codd bottles and stone Ginger Beers.

Thanks for that! I have a couple of Norword Stone Ginger Beer, a White one with YPMWCo on it thats in nice nic too! an english one with a crown seal neck but that has a crack, I have a stone cream jar and a stone bottle with a blue neck can't remember what that has on it though.

I found a very old bottle awhile ago with Kings Liqure embossed on it and its hand made, seems very old, I could see Henry the 8th drinking from it HAHA!

I have a few Codds I recon my best one has a lion on it Letchfield or something on the front

Thanks for any help you can give me.
