This is a Waukesha Club Cheese crock I dug up a few weeks back. Anybody have any idea of age or value. It had a wire bail at one time and I don't have the lid.   Thanks for any info.    Marvin
*Sorry the picture ain't so clear.

Hi again #1Twin,
In case you might be interested or didn't know.....7 small pottery companies (Weir, Monmouth, Macomb stoneware and Macomb pottery,D Culbertson, Clinton and Fort Dodge) merged in 1906 in Monmouth, Illinois to form  Western  Stoneware....who is the manufacturer of your crock according to the ebay seller. Good way to get rid of the competition, huh?
They produced stoneware until 1985
I think it's beautiful!

My girlfriend and I just toured some mansions in Natchez, Ms and one of them was called Monmouth. I wonder if there is any relation? I think they said it was a German name for, "on a hill", or something like that.   Thanks again,   Marvin
