Paula and I went to an estate sale yday. It was fixing to be a give away because of the rain, but Paula didn't care. So I had them pull this for me, new never used, then I had to go leaving a ton of good stuff I don't need, but would have like to had. I can just see me walking to the car w/ a box of Barbi stuff. Well it was all early 60s and still had the boxes. This measures 30''x 5''

That's pretty cool. I've always had a soft spot in my heart for Nu-Grape stuff.

Guess I'll keep it here a while. How ya like that hand rail Mr. Lobey all ya need is a 2x4 and stain, pickets a sheet of 3/4 a/b. Beats 14 a ft. and 16 a picket. If ya can see the turned post, salvage. Took a year to clean them.

Patriarca you must have a touch of Italian in your blood. We're all salvagers, packrats and recyclers of all things wood and stone. I've without shame, pulled many things out of job site dumpsters. From lumber to antique furniture. If it aint on fire it probably has a use. Even if you don't think of one for a year or three. I once took these concrete pavers home. Four foot square by two inches thick. Twelve of 'em, had to weigh 200 pounds a piece. Flattened the springs right out. Two, three years later I sold them and my services to a nice couple and laid a patio for a little over 1500 clams. I don't throw much away

Nice feet by the way  Snuffy. Still chilly up this way. Had to turn the heat on for a few hours this morning.
Thought that was a picture of the side of a soda crate till I saw your feet. That things pretty big! Nice piece, goes well with your collection. Paula must just shake her head and roll the eyes, I feel her pain.

I am in the radio business and must say I have only heard Mr. Stearn's once. Not my kind of broadcasting. Not too sure about Big Foot's either. Still trying to track down the elusive cougars. Not too sure about wachpackers, as I have never hunted one.

That you and the mrs.? Charming couple!!!

Wow you're in the business and you don't listen to the King of All Media? You should tune in, if only to pick up broadcasting tips. "Free Radio" is a dying media and it wont get any better once the Sirius/XM merger is approved. Clearchannel pretty much commited suicide kowtowing to the FCC and the 28 minutes of commercial spots per hour doesn't help. You should start sending you resume out to the satellite stations now and avoid the crush.

I only wish that where me and the Mrs. That's Vermont's own infamous Bigfoot and friend. I believe he's been temporarily institutionalized pending competency hearing, poor felow.

Nope! Semi retired and working for an independent station.

Been there, done that. No don't need to send a resume out when you have been in the business for over thirty years and a recognized voice in an area. Stations beat a path to you.

Too bad for Clear Channel didn't have you on their advisory board.
