Wharton's Whisky 1850 Chesnut Grove - 11/15/2011 11:12:58 AM    KBbottles Posts: 1445 Joined: 2/24/2010 From: South Brunswick, NJ Status: offline Up for sale is this stunning cobalt pocket flask blown at Whitney Glassworks in Glassboro, NJ.   There is an amber variant of this pocket flask as well.  Dug one broken once :(   This flask is in absolutely beautiful condition with just some minor point wear on the sides.  No chips, dings, or scratches. Whartons is also featured on pages 194-195 of McKearins and the handled glass jug is featured.  These come in shades of amber.   On page 228-229 of the book, you can see another set of flasks in an advertisement.  Charlest Wharton, Jr. was a wholesale agent on 116 Walnut St. Philadephia in 1860.  $475 + shipping and this absolutely gorgeous little flask is yours.  Attachment (1) Post #: 1
