We got another pit dug this weekend.I was hoping it  was the older one in the yard but that wasn't the case. This pit turned out to be another TOC -90s pit.The older one will show it self sooner or later out of process of elimination.
We dig um all.Because you never know what lurks on the bottom. This baby was a wet one to.But the weather was great and the bottles were flowing. That makes a perfect weekend in my book.

We dug a 70s strap side flask in the yard next to this one. Stine & Kremlic wholesale liquor. The liquor store was located above Town Hall.I guess Stine out lived kremlic

Cool that you found the chamber pot piece, it will display perfect! What a perfect weekend, you are right, I wish it could be October all year round.
How old is the yard? I hope you find the older one, cause you got good stuff out of this one here. You dont see many of those s.s. whiskey quarts that are local, we only see Boston ones up here.
Good luck!

Beautiful weekend for digging - actually a little warm. I went to check out this old limestone farm quarry that I remembered from when I was a teenager, but most of the garbage was from the 1970's. I did find an embossed soda, though, so I may go back to actually dig instead of just picking through the surface stuff. (No gloves with me).......... Gotta make sure there's nothing older before they build houses there.....Had sweat pouring down my face!
Glad to see you had a good dig and found some cool stuff.
I'm going digging tomorrow!

Kate

Hey - I'm not complaining! Just, I wasn't really doing anything and was surprised by it. Warmest day in weeks, I think. Aahhh - Indian Summer.
