I appreciate any help. I have a green bottle. On the bottom it says Wheaton NJ Edition III. On the sides it say A. Lancasters Indian Vegetable Jaundice Bitters. Col. Sam Johnson Proprietor Richmond VA 1852.

I gather that this a repro? What is the history behind this bottle? Who made the original? What Purpose? What in the world is a Indian Vegetable Jaundice Bitter?

Any ideas on fleamarket value?

Thanks
Abby
