We found this while in a crawspace.It has a name engraved on the front.What is it ? Its about 5 to 6 inches long.First pic is of the back and second one is of the front.

Hi Reddilocks25

Welcome to the forum. How long is this item? I have dug very similar shaped items usually silver plated brass. They were tongs used for picking up sugar cubes. someting that was in style for a period.. The item you show would be just flattened out. Just a guess.

Its not any sort of handle its too thin.
Its about 5 to 6 inches long.

I woulds still stick with flattened out sugar tongs. They were just bent around something about 1/2 in. diam. where the embossing is, sorta like a small set of salad tongs. Someone could have easily flattened them before they were thrown away.Google images Antique sugar tongs and you will see some similar examples.
