One more question folks.
Does anyone know what these apothecary bottles were used for? Humidor? Tobacco? Herbs? Fruits? The tops look to be "fill and drip". I've never seen the like since I picked them up in 1975. Below is the pic of the Tops. Here's the link to the pic of the jars on the site :

Zeesb,  What are the measurements of the insde and outside diameter of the opening?  I have seen this type lip on early oil/ kerosene lamps.There was a metal ring with internal threads attached to this lip in which the wick adjustment scwewed into.Just a guess.
