Hi, I'm asking for help again. I dug up this Orange Crush Pat'd July 20, 1920 but it has a different type of lip than I've seen on all the other Orange Crush bottles. Can anyone tell me what kind of lip this is? It looks like a tooled, rounded, roll-over collar but the one in the book doesn't have that band below it. I kow it says 1920 on it but all the other one's I've seen with the same date are called crown tops, I think.
Thanks for the help,
Denise

Here's another look at the lip along with the crown top. That little band is embossed with the words "Registered  Patented Pride" Any thing you can tell me would be appreciated.

Thanks again
Denise

LILCRABBY...that's the 1st OC I've seen with that type of mouth. I believe it had a resealable tin cap with a wire twist on one end...Lifting the wire opened the cap...Any unfinished soda could be recapped till later, by replacing the cap and pushing the wire down...That style was in use in the 20's

Thanks everyone. I went to the Historic Bottle site and that is going to be a lot of help in the future.
Now the $64,000 question is "Did I finally find something that might be worth a couple of bucks? I'm not expecting big bucks. I've been looking at the bottles you guys take pride in and I don't have any of them but is this an unusual one to some extent?" When you're new to this it's hard to find a value for something like this without someone like you guys and gals.
Thanks again
Denise
