They said no digging alowed on the river ..I'd love to go ..If you could point me in the right direction .Id be very happy! TY Ron Post #: 1

The best possible way to not get in trouble and dig legally would to get permission in writing from the owner of the property. i advise to check with your local authorities on laws about digging. I live in Alabama and they state that any thing found in the ground belongs to them even if the property is your own. so by saying that, anytime I pull a bottle out of the ground i am breaking the law. Some cities may have additional laws and regulations. You are in a good area for digging. There is about 400 years of history and some rare bottles all around you. Be very wary of people who tell you things like that. Dig and have fun.
