Where can I find good places to Dig in my City? - 10/9/2005 8:25:34 PM    McMillan   Posts: 4 Joined: 10/8/2005 Status: offline Hi, Extreme newbie here, Just wondering where I can find good places to dig in Montgomery, Al. Also is digging along river banks legal? Also I know of a historic dump site unfortunately it is in the river, any suggetstions on how to get goodies with out scuba gear? I got one very early 1900's coke bottle from a spot on the river, need help though!!!! Have a huge interest in Bellingrath bottles if anyone has any. There's lots of ways to find places to dig,on the web you can find sites with old topo maps,insurance maps,talk to older people about where they used to dump.river banks are good places,you just have to sometimes get permission.Privies are another source,this forum will give you lots of help, _____________________________ So many Dumps,so little time.
