Where do all of you get your PVC tubes? I am looking for a 5 inch white PVC tube but I don’t want to buy the whole pipe. Does anyone have an extra piece they have cut off that they would see me?
Thanks, Tom

i get my pipe from the local hardware store, but 5 inch may be hard to find.  What most people are using is standard size plumbing pipe, which is available in most hardware stores in 2in, 3in, 4in, 6in, 8in, as well as larger and smaller sizes.  Some stores will custom cut pipe for you and is priced by the foot.  5 inch pipe isn't a standard size and may be more difficult to find.  For the time and effort you may want to consider a 6 inch pipe instead.

You can also scout out any new construction sites as they'll often have scrap pieces that are too short to use in plumbing but work great on a tumbler.

Thanks for the information tombstone. That’s a good idea to check around construction sites for scrap pieces of pipe. I already have the stopples for 5 inch so I would like to find some PVC that size. I am using a 4 ¾ inch tube right now that I found in the woods and it’s working alright but being that I found it 3 years ago it’s time to change it.
