White House vinegar lid - 6/12/2008 1:06:34 PM    DLWJohn   Posts: 27 Joined: 6/11/2008 From: Jermyn, PA Status: offline I was out exploring the remains of an old stone crusher near a river yesterday and I came across some newer soda bottles and mason jars and started scratching around with a stick to see if I could find anything good, the first thing I found was some kind of lid with an embossing of the white house on it with 'White House" embossed below it. I looked it up online and found it was from some sort of vinegar jar. It measures 2 5/8 across the top and the ridge on the underside is just a hair under 2 1/4, I was wondering if anyone knows what kind of jar this came off of or has a picture of this particular jar...
