While we are at it.. who knows anything about the Sheffield Store Milk, rd, qt,

I bought it for $10 bucks as it was my cousin's (she is 62) and she said her grandmother use to sell milk on their farm and that was one of the bottles she it in. Now that had to be before WWII

Now, as I realize it is a generic milk bottle, it now has a local angle to me.

The bottle is 4 3/4 inches high, it is BIM but has a WT Co, which puts it 1901-1938.

It is eddy's / dermadone.

Any serious info would be appreciated.
Joel

Oh serious, k here's serious. It's a cosmetic, 1910. One of the thousands of unknown and long forgotton products from a bygone era. Value $5

Thanks Lobe. Appreciate it.  This is another case of a post 1900 product being sold, in a bottled, pre 1900 mold. This is a BIM with the WT Co on the bottom which places it in the year category you claim. They must have just changed the bottle mark on the bottom, leaving production in the old manner, before they decided to go to ABM. Good to know it is worth $5. I only paid $50 cents for it. Good profit margin. It can only appreciate.

     Joel,

Relying just on memory, which isn't that great there was an Eddy & Eddy in St.Louis but another Eddy in Brattleboro,Vt. which I believe is where yours comes from, but have not seen this product,It looks medicinal and the St. Louis company produced mainly foods and extracts.Hope it helps a little.Doug

The Vermont was a soda. The "DERM atone" suggest a lotion. Dermatone shows with google with SPF stuff for fisherpeople.

I have seen that scripted Eddy's for sale around here. It sells for about $9. There was one embossed Rutland, I believe. They are quite common.

Is that a Rutland or a Brattleboro Eddy's?  There was another Eddy's, I belive in Brattleboro, which was pharmacy. I will go try to find it and clarify.

Joel

Hey Joel,  Unless these old eyes are playing tricks on me , your bottle says "Dermadone"  not "Dermatone".  If its a misprint, it may be worth more than you think.  Check it out !
