RE: Wine bottle!! - 9/18/2006 10:47:17 PM    Haldy   Posts: 72 Joined: 1/21/2005 Status: offline Frank: My Dad picked up a Garrett & Co. wine bottle for me earlier this summer at a garage sale for a quarter.  I did some research at that time and found out that Garrett & Co. was the first wine company in the US and appeared to be worth the $10-15 range that Warren already indicated.  Mine is 12" tall and is embossed w/ Garrett & Co., Established in 1835.  It does not, however, have the Virginia Dare name on it.  (I am attempting to post a photo, although I have been unsuccessful in doing this in the past.) All of the are worth at least $10.
