I have a full bottle of Witter Springs water, that was pulled out of my great Aunt's basement in San Francisco.  Does anyone know how old the bottle is, and what it's worth?  I have attached two pictures.  The bottle is embossed, and I do have the original label.  Unfortunatly it's become detached from the bottle, and I assume I shouldn't try to glue it back on.  Any advice is greatly appreciated!

well what i did when some of my labels came off (this was only a couple) was i used some ACID FREE stick glue i stress the words acid free for a reason if your going to glue it you might as well be sure its not going to make it disappear sooner i didnt ask any opinions about whether or not i should have dont this or not so you might want to let a few others chime in for a better understanding on how the collecting world feels about the practice of reglueing labels......

If it is brittle I would not try to put it back on other wise since you know it is the lable that was origanally on it, glue it back on especially if that is the orignal contents.

Witter Springs water

My wife is a primary teacher and I use her glue for labels. It is kid safe and works pretty good.

Of course you know names of towns and springs were brought with the intransient migration of easterners. There is a Witter Springs near Saratoga and I wonder if a resident of that area traveled to California and found the springs.
