were still in the daffodill stage and the wildflowers have just started to pop, however IU'm in CA where stuff seems to be in bloom 365, but especially now.

Rarely snows in southeastern Washington and equally rare are temperatures below 30 degrees Fahrenheit during winter. When snows do come it melts rapidly. So, one can dig year 'round. For all you in "snow country" I hope you'll be out and about in the next week -- if not sooner!
