Wooden medicine bottle - 3/9/2010 11:16:42 PM    ccartist   Posts: 5 Joined: 2/8/2007 From: upstate NY Status: offline Hi heres another of my weird bottles, I found it in an old barn...it's a little over 2" tall and was formed on a lathe. Label is almost gone...**ART CALCIUM W*** for some type of disorder...I thought it a pretty groovy find but have not seen any like it. So if you may know, please share. Wooden containers were pretty common in apothecary shops for holding ingredients, especially in Europe. They usually had a wooden lid.
