I looked it up in Bitters Bottles by Ring & Ham, they list it as extremely rare with only 1 to 5 known examples. That means that if it is something that you collect, you may not find another one for sale again, but as an investment, it`s still a plain style bitters with damage, which makes it a hard sell if you`d ever want to part with it. It all boils down to how much you want it. Just my 2 cents worth!

My Advise: If it has no cracks / fractures: Offer less but, Buy it, clean / tumble it and keep or sell it.

Ring-Ham values it at $200 in Near Mint (not MINT) condition. I sold my BITTERS collection but I would buy it if I ran across it.

Ex- BITTERS specialist.

buy it. lightly embossed or not scarce is scarce and you may never find another. to make a collection work you have to lose sometimes and that may be the case but im sure you are o.k.
