EMERSON'S/ AMERICAN HAIR/ RESTORATIVE/ CLEVELAND/ OHIO PRICE $1.00. This bottle is from around 1865-1870, and would have been a good one to find whole . I also got one other neck from the same era, but didn't find enough of it to make an ID. It sure was a bummer, got a few cuss words out of me . I think this one just missed the pontil era, but there is a chance that it may have been an earlier pontiled example. Would have been nice to find the base! The only price listing I was able to find was Kovels 2002, which listed it at $193. We're going to our oldest dump tomorrow, which is 1880-1900.
