Have  any of you ever run across a mis-spelled Wrens Georgia bottle embossed "Wren Ga."?  A friend of mine showed me this bottle found in Wrens Georgia.  Unfortunately the top is broken off.  This guy's last name is the same as the misprint "Wren", so he was wondering  about this one.  Any help appreciated.  It's a Patd D-105529 dated 1940.

Well, I thought surely some of the Coke guys had ran across this one before.  I couldn't find anything on Google on a Wren bottle without the s.  Got another question on this bottle.  Looking closely at the place where the date appears is what appears to be the Owens Illinois trademark symbol.  The photo didn't come out as well as I had hoped, but you can see the diamond points on either side.  Did owens Illinois make hobbleskirt cokes?

Hey Buster, The wrens D-patent bottles are common as all get out but the error bottle is scarce. 20 or 30 bucks would be my guess. The makers mark is for UGB.

Thanks Cap,  The guy who actually dug the bottle and gave it to the guy named Wren had told him that the bottle was rare ( we say scarce). I couldn't get anything to Google-up, so I couldn't confirm that this was correct.  The Wren fellow is going to try to locate a whole one, not for the value, but because of the name connection. I'd like to make contact with the guy who found the bottle to see if he's a digger and collector. Thanks for looking and helping on this one.
