Trying to find any info on a vintage perfume bottle. Label reads: WRIGLEY'S Trailing Arbutus WRIGLEY PERFUMER CHICAGO. I think it may be circa 1890s. Wm. Wrigley Jr. came to Chicago in 1891. He started out selling soap (his father was a soap manufacturer in Philadelphia) and offered baking soda as a 'premium' to his customers. Baking soda became more popular than soap, so in 1892, he switched to selling baking soda and giving gum away as premiums. I have contacted Wrigley's for any history, but to no avail. Please, has anyone ever ran across a like bottle and have any more info. I want to confirm if it is, in fact, from Wrigley's early Chicago beginnings. I am having trouble uploading the picture, please reply and I will send via email if you think you can help. Thanks so much.
