There's nothing better than finding a rare or previously unknown local bottle. Good score.  ~Jim

Doesn't really look like your local Dr. bottle needs cleaning. Maybe it's just the lighting or the camera angle makes it look fine as it is. Congrats! So many dumps back East still to be found and dug. In California everything's been paved over or dug decades ago. There are a few creeks here in the South Bay (with potential) but there has been so much re-channelization and tons of dirt and cement pushed over the banks through the years covering the old dumps pretty much for eternity or the next big random flood.

Man, what a smoker!  Only thing that could be better would be "GA." instead of "PA."

Much agreed!

So how big is the population in the town of Shohola, PA now SPD? The best i've done is dig a pharm from Minto, North Dakota (of all places) with a current population of 657, and a pharm from small town of Sidney, IL with a little more than 1000 people now, and I certainly wasn't born in either place.

I tried googling the town but I cant find any good information so that bottle is probably a bit more rare than my finds. Congrats on digging such a nice piece!

Sweet! I find a lot of the common stuff but would be beside myself if I found a really rare bottle, but then I guess that's what we are all looking for , right??

Way to go. I love the local stuff. I searched for over 25 years for a local amber coke and I finally found one. It's top shelf stuff for me, the locals.

Plumbata,
Pop. in 2000 was 2,240, land area of 49.13 sq mi.,and pop. density of 49.59 people per sq. mi. Bigger than when I was raised there..used to drive down the road and every one waved at you..now I hardly recognize anyone at the grocery store.. times change.. hopefully for the better......  Michael
