Yard sale bottle!! - 7/24/2006 10:27:51 AM    shadahoochie   Posts: 94 Joined: 5/29/2006 Status: offline  Hi Folks!  I found this at a yard sale.  It is a "Pond's Extract"  It has 1846 embossed on the bottom, and is aqua and 4 1/2 inchs high, the bottle is molded.  I'm not to sure on the actual date.  Pond's opened his Co. in 1846 and died in 1852, the Co. soon renamed "Pond's Extract Co."  i bought the bottle for $2 I saw it and just had to buy it. I have no idea about actual value, but my guess would be $7 or so. Here are a Few pics.  Can't really tell the color in the 1st pic, to dark, Sorry! Its a fairly common medicine.
